Outlook For Mac 2016 - Delay When Switching Emails - Microsoft Community


hi all,

i have upgraded 1 of users outlook mac 2016 , has begun experiencing problem - there long delay in bringing messages when clicks through inbox , when switching calendar view inbox view.

quitting outlook , going in seems resolve issue, return few days week later.

is there can done resolve problem? @ first thought has large number of messages in inbox, think if issue, not resolved quitting , going in.

please try use "clean startup" or "safe boot" mac determine whether background programs interfering outlook 2011 mac.

may try check issue via creating new mac user profile , performing clean reinstall latest outlook 2016 mac application program see whether problem still occurs.

if above troubleshooting steps doesn't solve problem, try check user issue via using different mac (e.g. non-problematic colleague mac) determine whether specific client side issue.
