Office 2016 for Mac - Search finds No Results - Microsoft Community


i having issue office 2016. migrated system new macbook pro old 2012 model. after migration, seems working exception of searching within outlook 2016. no matter search, terms have come in since migration, yields "no results"

i have forced macos re-index spotlight search based on recommendations of google searching. same issue persists. 

i can see messages in spotlight search within macos, nothing within outlook.

to better understand situation, i’d confirm following information:

  1. the versions of operating system , outlook client. check version of outlook client, click outlook in navigation bar , click outlook. looks 15.32 (170309).
  2. screenshots of test search results in both spotlight , outlook.
  3. which type of mailbox use, exchange, pop or imap?
  4. i understand have forced macos re-index spotlight search. have tried suggestion in following article? if not, can refer article , see if works:
