Outlook 2013 stops working when computer connected to internet - Microsoft Community


i need help, please.  i have been running office 2013 on win 10 time now.  a few days ago when tried start outlook 2013, starts loading, following error message appear: "microsoft outlook has stopped working - windows checking solution problem"; "microsoft outlook trying recover information"; "microsoft outlook has stopped working - problem caused program stop working correctly. windows close program , notify if solution available".  program closed.  

however, problem not happen if computer not connected network (no internet); in case, outlook completes initialization, email folders seem intact, of course, error messages generated since outlook cannot connect internet retrieve mail.  

configuration;  i run outlook both connected corporate exchange server , retrieving multiple pop , imap email accounts - 15 accounts in all; been doing on year.  

what have tried:  

  1. run in safe mode;
  2. checked add-ons; skype not installed.due problems, apparently.
  3. outlook repair thru control panel , installation disk;
  4. deleting srs file; system creates new file;
  5. archiving email accounts ensure smaller sized set of email pst files;
  6. temporarily renaming of larger pst files outlook doesn't see them;

what have not done: uninstall , reinstall outlook.   hoping might have suggestions before reinstall.  thank ides, , happy new year!!   brice

we suggest start outlook in safe mode check if still encounter same issue.

  1. you should close outlook.
  2. launch typing outlook.exe /safe in start box , press enter.
  3. close outlook application , relaunch normally.

check , install windows , office latest updates. check on link know more information on how can office  2013 updates.

if issue still persists, suggest repair outlook data files.
