Outlook Attachement is a .DAT file - Microsoft Community


when send meeting request outlook 2013 (had same problem earlier versions) gets other person .dat file on android phone (sometimes) , other times received properly.  same email gets received .dat file on phone gets person in outlook 2013 properly.

can tell me how fix issue?

caused format used ms outlook, ie plain text or html should used, if intermittant problem might suggest third party utility integrated in ms outlook causing issue. suspects being anti-virus/anti-spam utilities
