Outlook for Mac ver 15.31 no longer connecting to exchange account - Microsoft Community


upgraded 15.31 , had intermittent connectivity exchange account (work). did clean uninstall , when go add exchange account can no longer connect can not add account @ all. odd since can connect iphone , can log in via web app.

please  do following steps:
1. make sure outlook isn’t set work offline. on outlook menu,  don’t check “work offline”.
2. network connection stable , smooth.
3. if exchange account requires log on using encrypted channel, contact exchange server admin learn if account requires this.
   on tools menu, click accounts.
   in left pane of accounts dialog box, select account.
   click advanced, , click server tab.
   under microsoft exchange , directory service, select use ssl connect check boxes.
4. contact microsoft exchange account administrator verify if computer requires mail proxy server connect exchange server.

besides that, can provide information below?
1. screenshot of error message if any.
2.  using exchange online or exchange server on-premises? 
3. organization have exchange server? outlook mac 2016 supports accounts managed microsoft exchange server 2007 service pack 1 update roll-up 4 (kb952580) , later versions.
