Can't open email Outlook 2016...Server Error - Microsoft Community


last week i've been getting server popup window asking me verify server access, user name , password while using observer 2016.  i haven't had update information in years, today couldn't access email @ all.  i talked service provider , able log account via browser varying user name , password weren't problem.

  1. were there changes made computer prior issue?
  2. what exact error message/code getting?
  3. what email provider?
  4. aside verifying username , password not problem, other troubleshooting steps have performed?
