Page numbers in Powerpoint - Applying page numbers automatically to - Microsoft Community


i'm looking create template , make available many people in company.

i've created master slides , applied page numbers these masters.

any slide created these masters shows page number ok there problem.

many of users looking paste in slides other older presentations these not have same master template have created.

is there way of automatically applying page numbers imported slides?

short of complex add-in makes head hurt think about, , maybe not then, no, it's not possible.

it train users choose option use destination theme when pasting/dragging slides in presentation.  or use home tab | new slide, click triangle | reuse slides option insert slides presentation.

the slides format according master and, extent possible, matching layout.  users may need apply appropriate layout if there's none matches incoming slide or may need click reset on home tab after inserting slides.
