Where does my old BlackBerry 9300 synchronize to 'Outlook' - Microsoft Community

hi there,

i've been puzzled question time, never desperately needed know before now, blackberry calendar , tasks have become important, , want make sure can find them if phone packs it's getting old.

blackberry desktop software gives option synchronize contacts, tasks, memos, , calendar outlook.

i don't use outlook because happy thunderbird, , don't trust data in 1 huge pst file disappears when pc has hiccup , corrupts profile, happened friend.

i do, however, have home , student edition of office 2010, use excel, of communication on email, blackberries, , don't have time fancy stuff.

when first got it, did try open outlook, setup dialogue wanted key, had not been given, , couldn't find out how get, i've never bothered it.

so:  i don't have outlook installed, blackberry desktop software still spending hours synchronizing phones:  i don't know where.  i need check 'where' remove contacts duplicates 1 thing, , access history of around 18,000 'tasks' (that noticed recently, separate app calendar!).

the software tells me tasks , memos going 'myispmail\tasks', , 'myispmail\notes'.

i don't find trace of these on pc, windows live mail (which, believe now, confusingly, called 'outlook.com') have 'notes' folder hotmail accounts.

i assumed blackberry must synchronizing live mail contacts , calendar 'outlook', and, indeed, there entries in live mail calendar, thousands of tasks keep track of on blackberry calendar, seen, though pc busily copies many thousands of them on several hours of comparing , updating.

so, they?  i keep live mail hotmail accounts, there no 'myispmail\notes, or, tasks' folder in live mail 'outlook.com' them saved to, i'm baffled.

does blackberry software have 'backdoor' access office outlook folders have never been activated, or what?  is being synchronized outlook.com, server in 'the cloud', i'm unaware of?

i never thought basic confusing!

any light people can throw on situation appreciated.  i'm getting no answers blackberry forums, or thunderbird forum (though know thunderbird can't synchronize directly blackberry calendar, can synchronize contacts 'outlook', once know sure means 'outlook', , magic folders are!).

these online forums shadow of old microsoft.public newsgroups in combination outlook express.
