Color sliders missing from PowerPoint 2011 for Mac - Microsoft Community


hello,

i using powerpoint 2011 mac , need add custom colors presentation. however, standard color wheel , sliders (rgb) seem missing , there's nothing in pop-up window offers options. pull-down menu items appear "web safe colors; crayons; developer; apple". when use web safe colors option, colors don't seem "stick" palette. i've used eye-dropper tool not accurate. i've tried set custom theme , colors not enable me put in specific color value (even web values). appreciated. 

the color picker apple device provided application programs operating system.

have checked in excel or word see if color picker displays differently? check in non-microsoft document producing programs such pages or textedit well.

have tried restarting mac?

before can offer other meaningful replies need indicate present version & update level of both office 2011 & os x. also, additional information appreciated, such whether new issue on installation worked expected. if so, else has changed on mac coincident start of issue?

can provide screen shot of color picker without having color palettes popup menu open?
