default frequency outlook mac version 15.34 checks new emails?
how configure it?

default, new emails appear it’s available in outlook mac 2016.
if using office 365 or exchange account, not feasible manually set sync frequency.
if using imap account, can go tools > accounts > advanced > sync imap folders change sync frequency screenshot below:
