hi,

i have same problem. 

we're running office 365 , web mail works fine outlook mac app won't connect , sync. askin password won't accept it.

outlook not offline.

the indicator yellow in account settings

hi peter,

based on description, issue seems caused mac os update , update made config files relate outlook client corrupted. please try steps below , see if there improvement:

1. go keychain access.

2. search "exchange" under login --> items , delete everything.

3. search "office" , delete everything.

4. search "adal" , delete everything.

5. launch outlook.

6. activation prompt , if account added see password prompt app , adal again. please 2-factor authentication if asked to.

 

if doesn’t help, need collect information below troubleshooting:
1. can add office 365 account on other office suites such word on mac?

2. can configure other types of email accounts such outlook.com email accounts on outlook mac client?

3. detailed outlook mac version.



in addition, please informed microsoft aware of issue , investigating it. updates, suggest monitor thread below:

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
