Unable to connect to Office 365 e-mail account with Outlook 2016 Home - Microsoft Community


after updating windows 10 creators edition (1703), outlook 2016 (office 365 home edition) unable mails office 365 account. tried recreating profile, reinstalling office , many troubleshooting , fixing tools none worked. when try add 365 account outlook profile, message exchange server not available.

i can configure account imap mail, lose of benefits of outlook 2016, synchronized calendar.

windows version: 1703 home

outlook version: 1730 home (build 7967.2139)

fixed: it's ipv6. disabling ipv6 solved problem.

i can see images posted autodiscover able locate account fails when connecting it.  last few users helped type issue problem ipv6 not working somewhere on network.  try following kb disable ipv6 , try configuring account again, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3134780/outlook-displays-a-disconnected-status-when-ipv6-is-enabled.
