Keyword stuck in Outlook 2013 search fields - Microsoft Community


hello,

i having issue on microsoft outlook 2013 when type in word in individual search field  (to, from, bcc, etc..), keyword gets stuck , can't clear it. way fix delete search field , add again.

the strange thing - when change folders try clear search, if word stuck in search field, search function doesn't search (i.e.: if word clears memory still stays there if makes sense).

eg:/

when try delete "test word" search field, won't clear. when change inbox folders, still stays there.

i tried following fixes no avail -

  • loaded new profile , test. failed
  • tried use command line switch reset search criteria , test. failed
  • tried use 3rd party tool clear searches , test. failed
  • check indexing , test. failed'

any problem appreciated!

if not using office 2013 professional plus, professional, , standard editions, please note support 2013 versions of office 365 proplus has ended on february 28, 2017. suggested upgrade office 2016 , check outcome.

if issue persists, may encounter known issue search field cannot edited after finish search in outlook. our relevant team still working on fix. currently, there no eta fix release, please monitor our roadmap updates list.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
