Contact list is there, but not when I want to use one for to: - Microsoft Community


finally got contact list import program, , when click on people/contacts, entire list details show up.

but when try send email, both address book , contacts blank.  no names appear.  the way send email on contact list go individual contact page , send there.

this makes outlook useless.  how mail recognize contact list.

based on description provided, need determine cause of issue. having said that, know more concern. kindly answer following:

  • any changes made on email account prior concern?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
  • is first time encountered problem?
  • are getting error messages when trying use contact when sending email? if so, can send screenshot? note: please not include personal information.
  • are referring office outlook installed on computer or outlook.com website?
