I found an error in the "Categories" function in local folder - Microsoft Community


the "categories" feature stops working in entire outlook, when use imapi mail server. although of folders in outlook saved locally. contacts (locally saved) stop working properly. can not change category in normal way (although contact category in detailed contact list displayed). have in sneaky way. when click on contact right mouse button, can choose default category. , then, clicking in detail view in category field changes category default. category change button in top menu inactive (gray). , have no way of defining own categories.
