Not able to search emails in outlook with office 365 - Microsoft Community

i not able search emails in outlook office 365; windows 10; outlook 16

i have 3 email accounts.  one of them still works fine searching inbox.  the other 2 not work @ all.  any search returns comment "no result".  i suspect problem occurred when having remove outlook profiles , other issues having outlook.

per post looked at, openned outlook in safe mode , when this, able search results in email accounts.  futher followed advice in post said try unchecking add-in box.  i did too.  now have tried troubleshooter , says fine.

i'm wondering if forced rebuilding of entire index if positive?

i must able fix basic problem otherwise outlook not usable me.

help me please!  thanks

  • are accessing outlook through browser or through outlook application?
  • if it's through browser, happen on browser have used?
  • have tried delete , add emails again?
