Outlook for mac - Microsoft Community


outlook stops working while updating message list. has been working fine there have been no messages downloaded since end december 2016. can see email on platform live account.

any appreciated.

i know if using microsoft live account configured on outlook client. if yes, please have @ this article and see if issue can fixed.

please provide following information, further troubleshoot: 

1.) the detailed outlook mac version, example 15.29 (170104).  

2.) please share more detailed symptoms regarding issue. example, did receive error message? meant cannot receive new emails, right? how sending emails? can provide screenshot of symptoms.

 3.) screenshot of email account settings (outlook > preferences > accounts) screenshot , settings in (outlook > preferences > accounts > advanced)

4.) check whether accounts color indicator green or not.

5.) check under outlook menu, if work offline unchecked (account online).

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
