Regular email going to RSS Feed folder instead of Outbox - Microsoft Community


i'm using outlook 2016 , outlook.com email address on computer came preinstalled windows 10.

i'm trying send email domain i've used countless times before--i've had email conversations , forth specific person before. it's regular email 1 person (me) single-user address. has nothing blog, news, group, or kind of published or syndicated material. for reason, after hit "send," email shows in "rss feeds" folder instead of usual outbox folder. it's still sitting there, unsent, , every time close program prompt have unsent emails in outbox. i've tried on dozen times email send, waiting 30 minutes time, , tried rewriting same message on fresh email 3 different times. it's still showing unread in rss feeds folder though i've opened , copied it.

if makes difference, it's .gov email address. (i work small state-funded direct care agency , correspond our state oversight organization. i've never had issue before.) tried sending email yahoo.com address , sent in normal way no problems, then the .gov email didn't budge. how can email send?

  • how did set email account? using pop3, imap or exchange?
  • are subscribe rss feed?
  • are encountering same issue if send email outlook.com web mail?
