Problem with opening Office 365 files - Microsoft Community


i installed office 365 on 2 windows 10 , 1 windows 7 pc.  office files on windows 7 pc don't have office icon associated application created file (e.g., excel).  if want open of office files click on file , appropriate application (e.g., excel) opens not file want opened.  have open file inside application.

why don't have office icons files , how can remedy problem?

to have better understanding concern office 365 applications, can provide screenshot of issue having?

in meantime, can try repair office applications. repairing office can resolve of issue encounter office applications.
