Sending Email Programmatically Gives "Spam Abuse Detected" - Microsoft Community


hello,

i trying send email programmatically c# program using office 365 account.  i using .net system.net.mail.smtpclient class, connecting server "smtp.office365.com" port 587.

my program installed @ remote site, , works fine sending email office 365 account in same organization.  however, when use program try send email external email address (for example, gmail address), bounce message saying "spam abuse detected".  is there can fix this?

you can share screenshots of log in page , setting account page in software me better understand it.

i think don’t have exchange server, have local ad. since account synced local worked fine, 1 created in cloud failed, have chance find account created in cloud (wasn’t linked local account) , test if account works fine software outside corp net?
