Best way to backup imap emails outlook 2016 when server no longer - Microsoft Community


what best way backup imap emails in pc outlook 2016 when imap server no longer exists?

the email account removed server previous hosts, outlook still has these emails available view. 

can create pst file on desktop , drag , drop these emails across (is possible when server isn't there in background), or can copy files hdd.

i presume change server info (the new email server has 0 emails in @ present), outlook sync new server , remove pre-existing emails visible.

any appreciated.
