Could not identify originating/source IP of a message - Microsoft Community

we have 2 domains in our office 365 tenant can send/receive messages. students on 1 domain , staff on another.

when users on both domains send messages each other using office 365 portal, "originating ip address" shown in message header comes 1 of microsoft ip address, not actual ip address of network users send messages. originating ip comes either 132.245.29.xx or 25.160.91.xx. makes impossible track source/location of messages when comes investigation.

it did work correctly year ago, not now.

can please take @ this?

thanks!
