Email Punctuation query - Microsoft Community


i using outlook 2016 office 365 home , windows 10 pro.

when write email prefer have shorter lines rather 1 long line.

i feel shorter lies make easier recipient read.

i note have press enter stop line getting longer next line (in same sentence) defaults capital first letter.

i have select first letter ,delete it, enter in lowercase format.

does know of way me keep short lines   avoid first letter being capital on next line?

first off; might not appreciated recipient mess line breaks formatting when he/she reading message in window size smaller manually constructed "short lines".

for instance, when reading message in reading pane or on mobile device, or see additional line breaks mid-sentence makes message more difficult/annoying read.

a better solution use shorter paragraphs.

anyway, automatic capitalization controlled autoformat settings;
file-> options-> mail-> spelling , autocorrect...-> autocorrect options...-> capitalize first letter of sentences

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
