Outlook 2016 - HTML Signature Formatting - Can't Remove Underline - Microsoft Community

first off, web developer, , have spent more time developing html emails scratch care admit, , have encountered of quirks modern , not-so-modern email clients have thrown @ me on past decade, problem seems unsolved wider community far:

i'm asking here , on msdn recommended in 1 quoted posts, how can include html signature outlook 2016 without getting mangled upon being sent?

specifically, font sizes converted point sizes (causing apparently smaller font sizes on mobile email clients), line heights ignored, , irritatingly, every hyperlink forced have blue underline.

ms word being main culprit, understand, has interesting side effect that, sending outlook outlook, signatures fine, receiving in gmail web client , mobile clients etc., formatting off.

i've found pasting signature signature box in preferences on own isn't sufficient, outlook decide include heavily compressed inline attachments rather honour absolute image src attributes, subsequent replacement of content of signature source file in  c:/users/[your username]/appdata/roaming/microsoft/signature fixes problem, @ least. still, when sending, inline text-decoration style attributes stripped anchor tags, along other changes causing problems mentioned above.

i have read suggestions of fixing hyperlink problem changing default style options; seems apply hyperlinks created in body of email, , signature remains unaffected.

does know workaround, way tell outlook leave signature html alone, or lost cause?

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
